When am driving my 2008 Freelander 2 the temperature gauge keeps going up & down between middle & bottom. Never goes higher than the middle, is this something to worry about I’ve just had it in for a full service & the mechanic said it’s a well looked after car he doesn’t think it’s ever been off road till I’ve bought it

What did your mechanic say it was or did he not know either, sounds like a air lock to me maybe try bleeding the system, or could it be one of the hoses breaking down, either way it needs investigating.
