need advice my temp gauge sometimes works then goes out then comes back on question is is the cold start aprt of the temp switch as i fined the revs seem to pick up a lot to about a 1000 rpm

you should explain more detailed what's going on, when you say the gauge goes out then comes back does it drop completely to the blue or it moves between quarter and middle of the scale and when it drops the revs are going up to 1000?

hi sorry it works then it drops down as if it no power to it ie all the way down then it comes back to life would i be right in changing the temp switch i got one today

that would be the first move, to rule the sensor out... and pray to be the fault cos it's cheap and easy to fit... cos if after the swap the symptom will persist then it's a wiring issue which is hard to find or ECU fault which is expensive

well upto now new switch fitted seems to be ok now just leaking sunroof to do lol vibe noise to find and a few other things to do lol as a new landy owner now seeing thats a love affair not a car lol
