Took my facia panel off yesterday to replace my temp guage bulb, when i unplugged the guage i noticed the green bulb thingy was broken off and fell insde, tried to fish it out eventully got it out and refitted the guage now the temp goes straight up to max after its been running a minute or 2 do you think ive goosed the guage?

Phone Steve Parker and order a new temp sensor green band and it will work a treat ;-)

Your current is black.
Green is for the 12J and 19J engines where the was no resistor in the guage.
So your guage has a broken resistor so buy a green band resistor and it will work like normal.
