temp and fuel guage wiring on LR90

Could somebody please tell me how to wire up both guages?
Does the temp sensor on the engine go directly to the guage, and then do you earth the other pin?

im looking at a birds nest of wiring behind the clocks and just cant seem to get my head around what goes where, i'm ok with spanners but just don't get wiring or wiring diagrams unfortunately.

gauge is feed by an ignition live and is earthed through the sender

yes, iirc the live feeds to guages are green
