Tdi or Xedi ?

Td4 would be my choice. Just make sure the crankcase breather assy is changed, fit the egr bypass & regularly use a good injector cleaner. Also change the fuel filter anually. The ird was also modified & is less prone to failure.

See me post on yer other fred. Xedi fer me cos 1) they're cheaper 2) the bimmer's got its own faults on top of the normal GL ones 3) loadsa rover spares loads cheaper than spec landy.

End of the day, depends on yer budget, yer prob better off with an xedi than a cheap early TD4...
 
xedi for me, bulletproof in my opinion, and from posts on here, td4 seems to be riddled with faults/quirks!
