TDCI loom to A TD5 HELP ! :/

Hi folks, i have recently started a project on a Defender 90 ( first ever project ) was wondering if someone could tell me how hard is wiring a Defender TDCI bulkhead with the loom into a TD5 engine... Also does anyone have any tips techniques or the key to doing this job. Anything would really help.

Sounds quite an interesting first project!

I'd imagine quite difficult.

Which way around are you doing it? Are you dropping a tdci bulkhead into a td5 defender, or dropping a td5 engine into a tdci defender?

if you're doing the first one, I have a td5 main loom knocking around if you're interested.

HI Defendermender!!!

I am about to embark on a similar project like yours... TDCI bulkhead + Dash on a TD5... any suggestions and tips would be really appreciated.... adding to that wanted to ask you if you have any suggestions where to buy such TDCI bulkhead including Dashboard.

You need both vehicles wiring diagrams , and sit down and have a good read , as it wont be plug and play , its bad enough sticking a 300tdi edc into a 90 TD HTSH
