Went out in it earlier suddenly
No heater controls working no front heated seats working, air susp inactive, no boot lights with tailgate open. No lights by the gearstick, randomly heard a click everything came back and died 20mins later?
Interior lights also flicker,

Already checked all fuses and another bcu, any ideas?

Stereo works,
All fuses seem to have power top and bottom with a voltmeter,
No battery drain issues,
No signs of water in the boot,

Thanks in advance

Poor thing must be throwing a strop with me, its gone from doing 100+ miles a day, now its only done 300 since October

I

Are you on about the engine to body earth or is there another one?
Engine to body, yes.
Do a continuity test from the battery earth to the chassis then from the chassis to engine and engine to battery. You should pretty much the same value across each test. Then do the same with the positive to alternator output and starter motor heavy positive.

Found a breaker local one of these might be worth a try before assuming worse.

Okay so here we go, i have low volts on a red/yellow wire into the bcu, if i put 12v too it it blows the lighting for the interior.
I found the glove box light is low on volts too but if i put 12v as a test into the yellow and red circuit everything comes on,

Putting 12 volts where there should not be 12 volts is a recipe for disaster.

Found it, broken wire too the rear boot and tailgate interior lights,

i didnt explain all that well,
A red and yellow output on the bcu was down too like 2v and the bcu was hot as anything, i removed the 12v output red and yellow wire from the bcu plug so I put 12v too the wire that should have been fed via the 12v output on the bcu, it blew the interior light fuses,

When i put 12v down the glove box red and yellow light its all connected too the same splice and circuit anyway,
i did read a diagram before just being daft,

So at the 12v splice i removed everything except the bcu to splice wire.
Reconnected the 12v output wire to the bcu plug,
Reconnected everything
Everything reconnected fine until the splice to boot interior light wire was connected,

Everythings as it was except for a new live wire from the factory splice too the back of the motor,
