td5 Wobble

What bits do you need to remove to get to the adjusment lock nut on an 03 td5.

I know where it is but access seems bloked by battery tray etc.

Can it be reached from underneath as I need to take a weeny bit of play out of the steering box - its not bushes or joints as those all checked.

Which one? there are quite a few locknuts on a landrover

do you have a wobble on your steering wheel. I have that too. Think its the bearing on the steering column. Didnt know there were adjustments that can be made!!

I adjusted my 01 td5 steering box with a socket,long extension and flexy joint and also an allen key and long arms

what did u adjust? where are the adjusters located??

I would like to adjust the main adjuster on top of the box, whilst the steering is central to just take the play out of the shaft whilst wobbling it at the UJ.

problem is the adjuster on the box is hidden from view from above in the engine bay.

so there is definatly a way of adjusting it then?? Does anyone know know where i can get some good info on this?

Is there an easy way to adjust? What parts need to be removed to gain access?
