pretty good but can be expensive to repair,3 amigos are the lights for abs ,traction control and hill decent they come on often together as they all use control of brakes to function ,abs releases pressure to brake on whichever wheel is going to lockup traction control applies pressure to brake opposite a wheel thats spinning so ensuring drive to that wheel ,hill decent uses automatic control of brakes when going down steep hills,

I just want to get a decent landy that won't break down all the time I have been stung by 2 range rovers a p38 and an l322 so wat are they like as a all round towing car I have a N reg 300 tdi at the min and even that's got probs

at 15 years old not bad though ,d2 i service a few and mostly had very little work from them apart from the odd wheel bearing and abs sensor, injector wiring loom and fuel reg, none serious jobs, but as can be seen on here some do ,main thing to look for is rust on chassis and components fastened to it ,bodies seem to last well,i would defineatley recommend one but a hawkeye or similar diagnostic tool can make it cheaper to own

What sort of problems does you TDI have? All Landies suffer niggles and there will always be something to do on them. That's just tr type of vehicle they are though.

Ah they're just your Landy telling you it loves you and wants some attention.

"not got much power" = I'm saving you fuel. :)

"Sticks in 1st gear " = Engaging to drive. :lvheart-beat-019:

"Rev counter stops working at 2500rpm" = Don't abuse me or I'll sulk. :frown:
