Does anyone know how much a complete TD5 engine weighs? I am trying to work out if I could carry it in the back of a small hatchback or in a small trailer like an erde 122. Thanks.

The trailer look s ok for 335kg , engine should not be that heavy , you can always take ancillaries off and redistribute
Your handbook will tell you how much weight you can carry , 3 fat lads in the back will be heavier !

I think the max. weight allowance means it is too close for comfort in the boot but I like the idea of using a trailer and sticking the ancillaries in the boot sounds a great idea. Thanks for the replies.
