TD5 Tuning

Hi all, I have a 54 plate defender 90 which I am looking to tune with a stage 2 upgrade. But my dilemma is where to choose to get it done? IRB, JE, Twisted or Alive?

Where is the best place to get this done which is the best upgrade or are they are very similar?

Some help and advice would be appreciated and also about your tuning from these places too

Spend lots of time googling as some are good and some not so good, others promise the earth and deliver them but at the cost of forsaking your engines health.
You want replies from people who have ran that tune for a few years, that way you know if its a goodun, outright power is not the answer.
Mine warped the manifolds twice, cracked the turbo and ran so hot the head started to crack by the screw in core plug, apart from that it was fine!

Alive. Hands down.

For stage 2 you'll have to upgrade some running gear.

Give Alex or Gary a call and they'll talk you through what's best for you.

If you can get to LRO show alive will be there and also Pete from BAS... And I'm fairly certain they do offers at the shows too

I have had a Stg2 Alive map on my TD5 Defender for over eight years now. No issues whatsoever. I tow weekly and it has never missed a beat. JMHO
