TD5 SOUNDS ROUGH TO 2k RPM

My TD5 sounds rough and almost like its got a misfire as I gradually bring revs up to about 2k, it then smoots out and when decreasing the revs back down from 2k it dosen't misfire. I've replaced the injector loom, cleaned the ECU plug,cleaned out EGR valve, fitted blanking plate and disconnected and blocked vacuum pipe, and cleand sensor in inlet manifold,but none of this has made any difference. Any ideas would be hreatly appreciated.
