td5 slight missfire/lumpy idle drives fine tho???

Hi the problem is My 2002 td5 defender 90 has a slight misfire/lumpy idle not on initial start up but if you rev its start wen comes back to idle but put slight revs on and it disappears it drives fine and goes really well still. It doesn't effect the truck in any way other than its annoying! It does have straight through pipe could it just be something todo with that as I bought it like that, but just wondered if anyone had experienced anything like this. No oil in ecu plugs I hav checked! thanks, dan :confused:

Are you sure about the oil?? I didn't think I had a problem with oil it was the third time before I notice, so was hardly any, bit it caused problems.

Have you taken the white insert out of the Red ECU plug looked carefully behind it?

Also take the "plastic" engine cover off and disconnect the multi-plug that connects to the injector loom, see if this is full of oil. Have a look at the following image, the multi-plug is highlighted by the big black arrow:
