Hi All D2 owners,
While having a quick check over of the D2 TD5, I found this little issue that may turn into a nightmare..
If you look at where your wastegate modulator is. Look below the air intake pipe going from the MAF to the turbo. You may see the following issue.
I found that one of the power steering pipes had been rubbing against the electrical connector for the WM. it had worn thru the insulation and made quite a gouge in the rubber pipe, plus the two powersteering pipes had been rubbing against each other and also worn through the pipe cover.
Hope this helps someone not have an issue in the future.
