For those that don't know there was a run of early TD5 engines that did'nt get locktite put onto a bolt that holds the drive sprocket onto the oil pump with the resulting bolt coming undone, sprocket dropping off and if you don't like STOP prompto when that oil can lights up on yeh dash -enjunes fooked
Any way of spotting it's not been done? I think it was 1999 to 2001 models and they usely go around the 80/100k mile mark.
I recon I'm going to have a look anyway as I'm off to the South of Spain soon in our td5 (110k miles)and have a enough on my plate with the wife,3 screeming kids, watching the GPS & never mind watching for the oil light to come on
Any ideas
