TD5 number 4 injector fault causing engine to hydraulic and cause eml due to crank speed sensor flt

Hi all my disco TD5 had a bad misfire at 3000+rpm have been told 4th injector is faulty & possibly causing the engine to hydraulic, this causes engine management light to come on due to the crank speed sensor. I can turn ignition off and back on and car drives fine ? Anyone had similar or experienced anything like this before ? Any help much appreciated (a very naive but enthusiastic new Landry owner)
 
Hi, IMO the statement in the title has not much logic, if the injector is leaking and hydrolocks the cylinder it has nothing to do with the crank sensor input nor vice versa... the EML(MIL) normally comes on for crank sensor fault code so first of all replace the sensor eventually check it's connector to not have loosened pins cos it's common... if there are also injector fault codes logged check the ECU red plug and if there is oil in it the injector code is most probably caused by the injector loom so you have to replace that too ASAP
