Td5 not starting

Does anyone have any ideas
W reg td5 manual will not start it turns over fine but refuses to start its reading 1/4 tank of fual and I have replaced fual filter

is the faul pump working derv to engine?

Has the engine been running ok recently? my fuel pump gave up 2 weeks ago. after a few days for missing and dropping power, one day she just didn't start. The call out guy turned on the ignition and opened the filler cap and said that you should be able to hear the pump running. Had it replaced and now runs like a dream.

It's not mine but he says its been fine but iv noticed fual light is on
