TD5 locking mechanism

Hi All,

Looking for some advice relating the the locks on a TD5.
Originally I thought the key needed replacement as the board inside was damaged, iv now had this repaired and still no joy.

When locking I can hear the locks operating but this does not lock the doors.

Is there a loop system where as if 1 locking unit or electric is damaged it defaults the whole system.

On the rear tailgate, the electrical connection and block has been cut and removed, would this stop the whole system from operation fully?

Any help in to what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

Update - open door with key, alarms goes off press unlock and deactivates.

Press internal locking button on dash and you can hear it trying to lock but doesn't straight after pressing the button I hear a click noise near the fuse box, fuse papers to be fine and nit faulty.

When locking drivers door with key only drivers door locks none of the others move.
