started my td5 auto today as i did the key fell apart ,not a prob got the spare .as i started off the s lite flashed and the auto box wont change when in d drive ,any advice wud be good ,thanks

They shouldn't be related. Your box has gone into limp mode - ie third gear. This is usually the result of low battery voltage. Happens on mine sometimes if I put it into gear too fast after starting up. It should clear itself when you switch off and restart.
