Td5 issues

Recently purchased a 2001 discovery, was shown a video of it running prior to getting it, was also told bcu was removed and fitted to the owners other d2 as he was having issues, so to cut a long story short this is what I no, when I received the d2 I noticed although I was told bcu had been removed it had one, so I fitted a battery and immediately hazards went off and horn to( alarm I assume ), when locked seems fine, unlock and try to start dash will light up and will not turn over, so purchased a bcu and had a local lad come over with a nano com and try eka code etc ( Barr in mind I have two keys and both have missing buttons) now he had no joy with the key coding for new bcu, so they checked ecu also had a tiny bit of oil in plug but not ecu itself , was told maybe needs an ecu ? So lad was gunna try. Key ecu and barrel off disco the bcu cane of but hasn’t had time so far to come bk ? And I regally wanna no if it runs as well as I’ve seen so does anyone have any ideas ? I’m new to td5s and only had 300 tdis

a well working BCU should remobilise it if the man who does the programming with nanocom knows what's about... which means ... Utility - learn security code, then if youn wantb full coverage ... settings alarms - alarm not fitted. period

I’m at a loss mate I just wanna no it starts and runs but. I can’t seem to find anyone who knows td5s well or many ppl with a nanocom
