Td5 injectors.

Dose anyone know where to send a td5 injector for testing or repair?
I must have spoken to 5 different diesel repairers and they all say they can send them off and be back in 3 or 4 days but who is doing the repairs and can I deal with them as no one will tell me so I can cut out the middle man!

There's not many places can do EUI injectors, and seeing as they are dearer to tool up for AND not as common as say common rail injectors, many firms feel the volumes don't justify the investment. Hence a smaller the number of very specialist firms actually doing them, serving a wider geographic area.

Feather diesels Feather Diesel Services - Specialists in Fault Diagnosis, Dynamometer output checks and the repair of all types of Fuel Injection Equipment,including the sophisticated Electronic Diesel Control (EDC) systems, for cars and commercial vehicles. Both those places have extremely well equipped workshops.

Having said all that, Dephi reckon the injectors can be good for 500k miles,
provided filters and servicing are kept up with.
