Hi folks. Up until today my td5's heater was fine.

Tonight I jumped in it and found the slider stick quite stiff to move from the 0 (off position) I wiggled it and it moved to 2 and there's nothing coming through to the cab.

I got out and you can hear the motor working but yet nothing coming through. I've checked the levers on the heater box and they move freely.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

The cable to the shut off flap is stuck.
When you put the heater on a cable on the same switch operates a flap in the heater box, this flap is still shut, the cable has come lose on the box.

The one on the left hand side bottom? The one on top operates hot & cold doesn't it?

Thank you

Yes the one on the side closest to the engine. I've had it happen too.
