Disco 2 Td5 glowplug wiring

Hi,

The original connections are very brittle and fragile, as we all know. I was watching this video the other day and the man is talking about a replacement rail from VW group that also fits on the Td5, but I don't know where I could source one from. I don't know what model of car I should be asking about from scrapyards.

If anyone knows, or has different suggestions, that would be highly appreciated.

Hi, IMO if you want new the VW one would not be cheaper at all than this https://twinwoods4x4.co.uk/product/td5-glow-plug-manifold-upgrade/ if you want to go a bit cheaper you can find individual wires to fit the plugs like this https://www.autodoc.co.uk/metzger/9338382 and join the engine harness with them though i have a strong feeling that this one Glow plug harness would fit, i'm not 100% sure but if you want scrap ask for one of the listed vehicles in the link and see if it fits or not
