TD5 Fuel Guage

It depends how full you filled it, but sounds about right. They can be quite difficult to get really full, lots of diesel froth.

Is it manual or auto? I get 29mpg out of my auto TD5.

manual, just off to paris on firday morning and really do not want to have a fuel leak, ihave double checked all the pipes and the FPR and all are dry so looks like no leaks, i did do a short run 70 miles then filled it again and was averaging 29 but this time seems to have dropped really fast.

Also i found that with filling even when the light is on and have done 50 or so miles when i first got it could only get about 70 litres in it.
