I know TD5 Landrover's all leak oil and that's not an issue

my gearbox box dribbles
my transfer box dribbles
the front engine oil seal dribbles

none of those worry me

BUT I appear to have "more than normal" leaking from above the alternator I can see the trace coming down the block and around the mounting points..... is there an oil feed up there ? I have jet washed the engine before to have a look but as you know its almost impossible to tell where it is coming from.

The other wierd thing is its completely clear, so could it be clutch or brake fluid ??

IT IS...... Fuel Pressure reg...

QUESTION

Could excess fuel pressure cause an over flow situation ?? ie if its at more than 4 bar ? or am i thinking to far ahead and just replace the gaskets and o rings 1st ?? what is the best kit to buy to do this {heard bad things about Britpart}

bite the bullet and buy an oem fpr, gasket and oring ... those repaired with kits will cede in short time or will leak from the beginning

ok... sounds fair enough, I see on ebay Guy Salmon are doing the one i need at £114 inc vat....... I see the 3 bolts to remove one of which looks like a nightmare to get to, how do the fuel pipes clip together ?

Good link thanks, going to Guy Salmn at 4pm, mine is the older version with twin feed at £105 all in....... fitting on Friday with a mate a 4W motor's in Earlswood.....
