Hey mate I was driving my Landy back from the shop and it suddenly died on me engine and dash I went to start it again and nothing happened no power to dash not even turning over then it started again but now same problem but now not starting at all. Power to the battery as checked but still nothing to the dash

Ignition switches are prone to failure?

Yes, my advice is to fix it.

Was thinking along the lines of ignition switch will give it a go. Cheers

I checked all that they are on the terminal properly. Maybe it’s worth taking the ignition out and having a proper look

Does sound ignition related.

I’ll have a look buddy hopefully that’s the only issue

Go to the interior fusebox with a paperclip and make a bridge in the attached connector C0028 across the pins with the brown and yellow wire, if the dash comes to life then the ignition switch is fubar if still no activity check fuse F27 there and if it's OK fusible link FL8 in engine bay fusebox then if still no joy we'll speak again

I’ve done all that mate but the dash is flickering at me as if there’s a wire touching somewhere but can’t locate it as soon as I go to pull off it cuts out

So you bridged those wires and the lights came on then you cranked it with that bridge there and did what you said or how? explain better what happens

I think I did sorry. Well a little update it does start but sometimes I get no lights at all it's like something is tripped it out when I go to pull off it cuts out

Great difficulty starting as is no power to dash again comes back now and then
