hi all first post. I have introduced myself in the relevant section. Just got my defender home after buying it last week. So as you do started having a rummage around and when doing so I have noticed that the diagnostic plug wires are severed. The wires where taped off and the 2 black wires are connected together. I have spliced together the obvious one but the 2 blacks wires are difficult, going to be a bit of a guessing game to reconnect. The landy has been chipped so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Would it be ok just splice the black wires to any of the 2 wire or will it have to be specific. I am going to need to get a new fob programmed as I only have one so with wires severed this could be a problem. Marto
