I am just in the process of buying a TD5 Defender 90 and when I was reading LRO I saw a comment that made me wonder. Do al TD5 Defenders have traction control and Anti lock brakes? Will someone confirm for me please?
Mine is a 2003 model, so maybe it is a later addition?
What you done to your landy Ratty? I see your trying to get rid of your mach 5 wheels on another thread.
Ouch, so whats the plan new head, new engine or new landy? I hope it works out for you whatever you decide.
You could get your money back with the injectors alone I think but you would want some gaurantee with a second hand engine too. If you can do the work yourself it shouldnt cost much more than your time and I know its still a pain in the arse. Best of luck with it mate.I've got enough money to buy a reasonable priced head at the moment. Most people are selling them untested though. I have no problem paying decent money for a head with test certificate/guarantee but aint about to spend £450 on a head thats effectively scrap until proven otherwise. I can buy a whole engine for around £800. If I buy a complete engine I can sell the block, turbo, injectors, starter, alternator etc and claw my money back.
there is someone on another forum who has a head for me but I'm still waiting to hear back on a price.

if they is doing it under warranty - and its irrepairable - are they getting yu a noo one?
Thank's for the feedback on this one. Mine doesn't have traction contrrol either, or apparently anti-roll bars (can't see any anyway)
