td5 clutch

can anyone tell me what way friction plate goes i have the manual but that is a bit vague also before you ask i never stripped it so cant go back into memory banks only asking cos we have only just refitted engine and box after replacing dual mass fly wheel and have the sneaky feeling its in back to front as clutch not engaging

blead it still no better so gotta bite the bullet and pull the engine out again, that slogan "land rover one life live it" should read "land rover no life fixing the b#*#*ed"

the boss on disc goes toward flywheel ,the other way round input shaft wouldnt have enough length of spline for boss to run up and would jam plate against flywheel

thanks for that as i have to revome engine to check it i have decided to put a new clutch and slave cylinder on just to be safe so hopefully get it fixed at weekend
