TD5 Clutch woes

Ok,

Still a little confused!

Im torn now between the Valeo kit, like THIS I have googled the part numbers individually and there all valeo OEM, so i knows there proper like.

I was all set to buy it and i thought id try the king of transmissions etc Ashcrofts. Well they do the Valeo DM flywheel, thats ok. But they only supply a AP clutch kit i have been advised to stay OEM so not sure about AP!

Anyone?

VAT and postage included the Ashcroft set up with the AP clutch kit works out £30 more.

Question is, is it worth the extra £30

shouldnt think so just get valeo both ,ive never had any trouble with them

I used a Valeo kit and its all good, got it off ebay for about £375

Update!

So i bought the Valeo clutch and flywheel kit from a place called MPS trading. Quick delivery and good pricing(£5.99) considering the box weighed over 20kg!

Anyway, got my local independent to do the work. Charged me £375 inc VAT for labour. Not bad at all i thought. So if anyone is north birmingham i can recommend a good garage, Ive been taking all my motors there for 10 years.
