New problem has occured with my brakes, around 50-60mph when you hit the brakes you get a very violent wheel wobble, release the brakes and re-apply them and nothing, all ok. At very low speed I've noticed the brakes seem to go on and off under constant pressure which points me to a wharped disc, any ideas.

Had the same problem with the 300tdi's brakes, it was corroded brake pipes, not sure how that lead to the brakes going "on and off" but sorted it... pipes in the 300tdi sit along the chassis, in a bed of mud and water, so they corrode, not sure if they moved them for the TD5?!?

Cheers disco, had a closer look and it turns out to be a wharped disc I cant decided whether to put standard ones back on or upgade them as next year it will be towing a 26ft caravan.

Hi, well i took the plunge and bought an upgraded front set from frogs island 4x4, groved and drilled with performance pads  £110 compared to James Edwards £280. Fook will these babies stop you sharpish it's like someone throwing an anchor out of the window :D. So now I've got it to stop better I'm now going to spend the money to make it go better!! The Chip is about to be ordered watch this space.
