How happy am I - just done round trip of 585 miles from Ashford to Liverpool and back on a single tank of diesel. Not bad for an auto :D Could have got a bit further 'cos only managed to squeeze 80 litres in, but wasn't sure how far I could go with warning light on. Now reckon 50 miles would have been safe, but no point in making a fool of myself trying when I didn't have a spare can onboard.

Replaced EGR at the weekend and car feels so much better. Anyone who is undecided on whether it is worth it should just do it - regardless if you have been told by an LR specialist that it's not at all necessary to do it as I was!

Have to see what happens on normal runs, but must be an improvement on the 21-23 mpg that I was getting before even on 300+mile journeys.

Shame the ACE light came on this morning.....

Interesting, this is something I keep looking at doing with mine, that and a de-cat, I ought to check there is actually a cat under there first.

I also have the ACE light issue, mines leaking somewhere in the front drivers arch I think, hoping its just a pipe not the ram, mind everything else has been replaced.

It was complete removal using a kit from Ebay. Took less than an hour but did soak bolts with penetrating spray a few times over preceding weeks.

I'm not sure I would hope for a leaky pipe, they aint nice to change.
