Stove refurb, new grates, new fire bricks general clean up.
Flue and insultated stack got new fire cement, (I use stovax mastic with a gun)
Over 11 years the middle grate had bent / sunk ( caused by over fireing with smokeless and choke plate not fitting properly.
Then a quick blat over with stovax black spray paint.
Burnt in all day today, the smell is horrendous but should be gone by the morning.
All ready for winter, I cant stand central heating.....

Makes a big difference in the boot! Also worth adding some 6mm closed cell foam over the top then the rubber matt or carpet.
aye i use those closed cell interlocking mats.
did the ceiling and sides a few years ago, but then did the panoramics etc.

Wolf Style air intake.
Finally bitten the bullet and ordered one, always liked the style, and have been after one for a while.
Of course it will be sprayed with Raptor in black.

its weird stuff, so globby you have to make sure you have actually covered everthing, first time i used it there were places where it did not take like orange peel so i assumed i had buggered up the primer and had a mismatch etc, then realised this was normal and after application it shrinks just a tad and this is with a shutz gun and from a meter away. Most peeps even after reading the instructions still dont shoot it from far enough away. Proper feshional now i is!
I love the finish you get with it, even on plastics that flex its the only bed liner than can accomodate flex without pinging bits off.
I might fit tomorrow its just too fookin windy n cold at the moment
