I know this one intrigued many people for some time. I believe I have actually resolved this on my FL1, the issue hasn't returned since either and it's been a few months.
Short story is it was the cat being partly blocked.
Long story I diagnosed 3 non Landrover diesels with the exact same symptoms within a couple months and that sent me pulling the exhaust off my landy, I poured everything and anything through it for literally 2 days and the end result was such a thorough clean that the misfire is just gone.
I put egr cleaner, dpf cleaner, brake cleaner, mr muscle aerosol can oven cleaner and gallons of boiling water down through it.
It's the only step I took to resolve it. Nothing else was done or changed.
