Hi all, New to the forum. Is there any other propshafts that will fit my freelander 1 td4 at all? As in 300tdi etc or am I making a widge of myself in public TIA..... Be gentle

Yeh, I'd create another login if you want to hang around :D

lol. no we likes a larf.

You are barking up the wrong tree there. You can't fit a solid prop to a Freelander - it needs the VCU in the middle.

You'd do better getting a 2nd hand Leaf or Tesla motor (depending on budget and how much you want to scare yourself) with some AAAs and bolting that to the rear diff.

Simply answer is no. You have to use the correct propshaft, as you need the VCU in the middle.
They're cheap enough on ebay, but you'll need to check the VCU works, and replace it if not.
However before you even consider getting a propshaft, you need to ascertain why it was removed in the first place. It's common to remove the propshaft, in order to hide a failing IRD, normally these are sold as "propshaft removed for economy", which is complete BS, removing the propshaft makes no difference to MPG, but it does hide a faulty IRD output pinion.
