hej
Looking to buy a freelander 2 and there are two over here (sweden) that are within my price range a td4 2011 with 149000 kilometer, looks like one of the high lv trims, has leather seats, alpine system, parking sensor, cruise control, full service book or there is a 2011 sd4 180000 kilometers alpine system, rain sensors, cruise control, xenon lights says on description it is an S spec but think it has a a few upgrades. Will be using it up here in the north, 8 months of snow, journeys of around mostly around 200 kilometers. I'm a 62 year old so not into boy racing, which one to go for. So what do you experts think, advice please.

Both are good engines. SD4 has more power. 0 to 60mph time is 2 seconds quicker over TD4. In gear 40 to 70mph acceleration is faster anorl. Which would I have? The SD4 engine on the TD4, just for the power, but yer dun't have to use the power. SD4 on a Freelander 2 is auto gearbox only. TD4 available in auto or manual. Make sure is has terrain response to help in the snow. Auto is betterer oft road.

For the spec... find a vehicle with the spec you want and engine. Lot's out there for sale. The S spec trim was the base model in the UK. I know it's the wrong country but there's some brochures of uk spec models over ere:
