Several little bits of job sorted out -

Previous post I had was oil in the coolant - This turned out to be the cooler.

Top tip, with it off the car , if you put your thumb over the far left port, and blow down the pipe, you should not be able to blow through this as you are separating/isolating both sides of the cooler. A sound cooler will have you inflating your face and not leaking into the cooler.

Not a bad job to do with the right tools. The mess in the coolant pipes is more of the problem, Im currently without anti freeze , and flushing it out every few days.

Another thing on the list to sort was the very minor, but very irritating oil leak from the bellhousing, only a drip or two a day, but looked great on the driveway.

Suspicions were right that the crankcase breather filter was blocked, Ive swapped it for the BMW cyclone effect separator, and after two days of running about, I no longer have an oil leak from the bellhousing. So enough oil has been pushed past the crankshaft oil seal, to maintain a small head of oil ready for the driveway.

And finally the tyres, canny bloke posted up some pictures of his FL on 205/80x16s...

Mine has since been sat on 4 Insa Rangers - They run probably within 2mm of the spring seats, THEY DO NOT RUB on full lock.

I do not run very heavy, so cannot comment eitherway. The car looks much better for it.

As per my gps, instead of the speedo telling me 70mph when the gps said 65mph - My car on the 205s shows it how it is, ie 30 is 30 & 70 is 70mph.

Yes I know gps has a offset into it. I will take the chance.
