Eh up.

FL1 TD4 2002. Had good results keeping the turbo, intercooler, hoses and air manifold free of oil by diverting the crankcase breather into a bottle. The set up is not ideal as it's a cobbled together affair, roughly fitted to avoid contaminating me new turbo and cleansed intercooler. Want to do the job properly with a purpose made part.

Question is; where's best to plumb the 'out' line?

Back into the turbo inlet seems pointless and, depending on the efficiency of the catch tank, might just continue to blow oil into there. Tempted to just divert it underneath the truck and fit a one way ball valve to stop anything getting up there.

Additionally, the breather outlet from the bottom of the airbox is large (roughly 1 inch). Will reducing this down to whatever the diameter of the catch tank inlet cause any problems?

Any tips would be appreciated :)
