Td4 issues.

Hi guys. Iv just bourt my first Td4 Freelander after a couple of L-series ones. But iv got a couple of issues I could do with help with. Firstly I'm experiencing hesatation and poor running with a distinct clatter at arround 2000rpm. This comes with white smoke from the back end too. Otherwise its running fine. Second, I have found a pool of diesel arround the injectors so suspect its from the retern pipes. But I'm not too sure how to check this. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Fuel around the injectors is probably the leak off T piece O rings, or the pipes themselves.

White smoke and clattering could well be an injector or two on the way out.

Change the leak off T pieces and their hoses to these brass ones below, better in the long run. do a leak back test after.
