Td4 injectors different part numbers

Hi guys,

Wanted to ask a question and also share my experience of injector removal.

Firstly I had a garage check my injectors due to hard starting and I needed to replace 1 and 4. Ordered 2 replacements and when they arrived the part numbers didn't match.

The old ones are 0445110049 and the new ones are 0445110130.

Anyway put them in and the car starts on the button now but does anyone know if this is likely to cause a problem? My car is a 02 td4 manual??

Second thing I would like to mention is that having heard all the horror stories of stuck injectors I spayed mine over about 2 weeks a few times with wd40. When I cam to them today the just poped out no problems! You could see that the wd40 had broken down all the carbon and other crap. Well worth getting some wd40 on there just in case!

So what you guys think?

New part number and recon part number??

Thanks for the reply mate, from many googles it looks like the part number I have could be for some auto td4s.

Will see what it's like for the next few days, at least it starts now!

I don't think it will hurt so just remains to be seen if they run right I guess?

Either new, recon, or part no superceeded.

Where did you get the injectors from? I need to replace some as mine is smoking bad on cold starts.
