Auto box problems are difficult to diagnose. I’ve had problems with mine too. Either find someone like ashcroft transmissions, or a LR main dealer and get them to test drive it. Also they can measure the resistance of all the sensors etc to make sure there in spec.
From experience, get it looked at sooner rather than later. Mine needed a replacement auto in the end. They don’t like taking them apart if they’re faulty. They prefer replacing them with a recon unit. Prices for that start at £1400 fitted.

The auto gear box seems to take a long time to change through gears any idea why, it's only done 25500 miles
2 questions: does it change ok if you use Tiptronic ? Does the auto change vary with the engine being hot or cold?
