Hil all,

I had a fault code come back from Halforads saying about low fuel pressure. They want to replace fuel pump and filter, but these are both new (wheel arch)if not a little noisy. They also want to change the pump in the fuel tank but I thought from 2003 the pump was under the wheel arch, is there one in the tank or is it just the sender?
Could it be the high pressure pump or just worth looking at the sensors?
Drives OK then rev go up and down, under load it drives OK and cuts out when I come to a stop but restarts OK. does not seem to be using and more fuel or any less.
Any help would be helpful.

I thought if the pump was under the wheel arch, then it won't be in the tank. - unfortunately, the later type isn't clear on the RAVE manual.
Can't comment on your issue though, without asking if the High pressure pump had been replaced. or if the injectors have been change / replaced at some time too.

Yes - there are times i am useless.... this may be one of them! - lol

I thought that about the fuel pump too.
All Injectors were change a while back, hp pump not.

take it somewhere else I would not trust Halfords, maybe the HPFP regulator O-rings which only cost £5 and easy job to change over, check all fuel hoses and vacuum hoses,
