anyone got a recomendation on best tyres to buy for lighter steering?

Maybe get the power steering system checked if you think that the steering should be lighter.

Otherwise I would imagine that any differences between brands would not be noticeable whereas a narrower tyre would be easier to move than a wider one.

What size wheels and tyres do you have at the moment?

thanks the tyres are 215/65R16 I have had power steering checked at dealership who confirm steering is the same as another 51 plate they had

michelin synchrone or lattitude if the vehicle is used mainly on the road, check tyre pressures, some difference of opinion on this, but I find my TD4 3 door commercial happy at 35 psi all round, but then mine probably weighs a bit more than yours with all the kit inside.
