Tarting it up

Not long had my P38, couple of weeks in fact, so I thought I'd tart it up a bit. New chrome badges on the rear, stripped some old gunk off the cubby, sent for a window switch burr walnut cover to match the rest. Couldn't believe it when it arrived! It was just the window switch strip when I thought I was getting the whole thing that was advertised. So, has anyone got, or can anyone point me in the right direction, a burr walnut window switch trim ? Pretty Please. Okey dokey. Here's a bit more about my Landy.......I've now got a 98 'T' reg Vogue 4.0 auto with cream leather and blue piping. Unusually everything electrical works, there aren't any side steps so I find it keeps the missus out, especially if I raise the suspension to it's highest! It kicks over first turn and burbles nicely and it drives as if it's just come out of the showroom. No rips, no dings, no knocks or bangs just the fan whirring louder than the engine. Ok now?

Could try Emmotts the forum sponsor if you're trying to match up to some existing trim. May get more help if you tell us a bit about the motor in the Introduce Yerself section first, then come back here, this lot can be a bit fussy.

Welcome to Landy Zone.
Telling us what the car is and sticking your location in your details can be a great help. Hiding these in a visitor message was not your best idea.

So, If Emmots can't help with your '96 4,0 then you could try Andy at RangeRoverBreakers. He used to make Walnut trim parts. OK he's not close to Nottingham but I've got a few of his bits on mine. He might be able to guide you through the different colours of original and aftermarket bits.

A '98 on a T plate?
Surely not -
R were August 1997 to July 1998
S were August 1998 to February 1999
T were March 1999 to August 1999

Welcome to the madhouse anyway, once you get used to the odd (and occasionally really bizarre) humour, banter and ****taking, this is by far the best and most responsive forum, with a large number of very knowlegable fellow owners/sufferers, who are happy (even desperate) to help.

Is this a record?

Look at the dates between posts 4 & 5 - two years to respond . . .

Methinks someone has been spending too much time around lawyers ;)

Feel a joke coming on and it's topical with the weather we're having at the mo.

How can you tell if it's a bit parky? Because the lawyers have their hands in their own pockets instead of yours.

And another...

So this brief dies when he's only 43, gets to the Pearly Gates where upon St Peter greets him. Suit says, this is all abit previous, I'm only 43! St Pete says well, lets have a look.......then says we've checked your billable hours and we've worked it out that you must be at least 89.

What do you call a busload of lawyers going over a cliff?
