Hi Guys,

I want to fit an air guage in the cabin, at the moment it's in the engine bay. Anyone know a neat way of getting through the bulkhead.

I'm loathe to drill a new hole, even though I have a stock of grommets but with all the sound insulation in the engine bay I can't make out where the wiring looms go through:confused:

Any suggestions?

PS search is dominated by series bulkhead threads so don't try that:rolleyes:

is there no way through at all, i put a wire into cab but i cheated and ran it round the door frame and under the dash. i want to get the wire put in properly but same as you couldnt find a hole!

There is a grommet with a bit of room on the right hand side of the engine bay on the bulkead. It comes out just above the throttle pedal. Should do the job.

If you have cruise control, try and follow the vacuum pipe from that as it goes through the bulk head above the pedals, i can just see mine from the engine bay.

OOh, hadn't thought of that, nice one!!

I tried Rewmers suggestion but its a real bitch to try and get anything through. I even chamfered the air hose but I couldn't get it through. I can't even figure what thickness the bulkhead is?
