tail gate window some times only going up half way. ok before problem. maybe needs re calibrate if so how do i did this

As in your other post, check the cables first or you may have the window stuck down.
To calibrate, disconnect battery, leave a minute then reconnect and the rear window will go all the way down. Then ign on and raise it fully with the window switch.

And..if it works properly when door open, as yours does, it will likely be the cables have stretched and when door open and no resistance to the glass, the tension springs don't compress. When glass is tight, the springs compress and the glass doesn't move as far down. Answer is new cables or regulator. I have fitted adjusters to effectively shorten the cable a bit. This solved the problem too.
