tailgate window

hi,after my window cables failed last week(block of wood keeping it up)i have bought everything bar the motor from ebay. im going to fit it tomorrow but im not sure how to reset the window to open and close properly?any advice please?

It goes like this.
Disconnect black battery cable.
Count to 20
Reconnect battery cable
Glass should drop to its lowered position
start engine
press button to raise glass to its closed position
this will calibrate the Ecuador
open glass fully
close glass fully
if it stays in the closed position it worked, go to pub and celebrate
if it goes back down, it didn't work , so do it again
