Hello

Sorry for this, there are already numerous posts regarding window regulator. In my car the previous owner fitted an aftermarket regulator/motor. If I need a new one I have to buy both or the motor won't fit, any advice of a good enough brand?

The problem I have with my current setup is that the wire snags on the bobbin. It seems too tight, but will be too slack if I unwind one turn (I guess), any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Cheers
/Chris

Not seen one like that before!!

All I can say from photos is that it looks like the wires crossing on the pulley looks wrong and will create extra tension.
Worthwhile changing whole mech if it doesn't work.

It's wound round the bobbin incorrectly.
The wires should be wound from the centre for a start.
Also there should never be 2 wires on the same groove in the bobbin.
