Sounds like the door open sensor isn't sensing the door is open.

It's in the latch assembly iirc. Does the boot light go out with the rear door open?

I guess Nodges question only applies on the odd occasion the fault happens.
Next time the window goes back up with the door open watch for the light going out.

That's what I meant Ali. If the light goes out with the door open, it proves the CCU is seeing the door is shut.
