Tailgate upper finisher

Hi folks,

Well, after destroying a couple of the clips (DCE100560) for the side finishers I better ask how to remove the upper finisher? Don't want to destroy it and it isn't obvious for me on how to do...

Should it be lifted or slided, to my defence it is difficult to see due to a lot of crap.

Hi, for this who find this link in the future.

There are five clips (DYC101470), take care and use a panel clip remover and gently push the finisher outwards. First is 15cm from the edge and second 30 cm, same on both sides. On the right side the third clip is 41.5cm from the edge.

Hello,

I have replaced the Lokuts (DYH100980) with new ones. After torrential rain I noticed the inner roof was damp. I removed everything and will now use the five remaining lookouts...
So before I continue, shall I use adhesive on the foamy sealant fitted on nr 3 here: https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/dyh100980-nut-lokut.html) or is it supposed to semi permeable and letting water through? As it is now there's water trapped on top of upper finisher.
